Property Manager

The Property Manager's primary responsibilities will include:
• Hire, train and develop community personnel.
• Develop and adhere to community operations budget.
• Ability to analyze and make decisions based on current market trends and conditions.
• Maintain physical and aesthetic characteristics of the community to ensure optimal appearance and curb appeal.
• Interface with internal and external customers while providing superior customer service.
We are currently recruiting for experienced market rate Property Managers in the Syracuse area.
The Property Manager maintains property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, maintaining and securing premises, balance property lease terms and expirations, achieve monthly leasing goals and conduct market surveys.
The Property Manager must be knowledgeable with budgets to maintain operational fiscal control.
Job Requirements
Requirements to become a valuable member of our team are:
• 3-5 years of previous property management experience with a focus on retention
•Previous experience with property management software a plus.
• Ability to communicate well with residents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office components.
• Ability to navigate and conduct Internet research.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum of Associate’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background checks.
Military Housing experience a plus!
Salary commensurate with experience. Benefit package including but not limited to: medical, dental, paid time off, 401(k).
